District 833 is pleased to announce that Jodi Husting will be the new principal of Crestview Elementary School and Nuevas Fronteras Spanish Immersion, pending School Board approval.

Due to scheduled maintenance on District 833’s network, all computers and phones will be down on Friday, July 3.

All District 833 phone lines have transitioned to the area code and prefix 651-425-. The lines are already in place, and the old numbers will no longer work.

The National Association of Counties presented Washington County with a 2015 Achievement Award for its program titled “FastTRAC Adult Career Pathways” in the category of Employment and Training for County Residents.

Volunteer grandparents visited all 58 third grade classrooms in District 833 as part of Project GO this year.

The School Board and administration continually monitor the financial status of the district, the needs of its facilities and what is anticipated for the future.

In November 2013, district residents passed a referendum to provide funding to enhance security at all district schools.

In order to attend class in South Washington County Schools, students must show that they have had the required immunizations or that they are exempt.
