Nearly 50 students from East Ridge High School's Unified Club attended the Minnesota Unified Schools Basketball Invitational

East Ridge High School seniors Noelle Tomes and Mariah Sexe are two of just 29 high school basketball players in the state who have been named 2017 Miss Minnesota Basketball nominees.

East Ridge High School Girls’ Basketball Head Coach Glen Wurm and Assistant Coach Tony Olson have earned post season awards for the 2016-17 season.

District 833’s Climate and Culture Ambassadors for the month of February, selected by the District's Climate and Culture Committee, were recognized at the Feb. 16 School Board meeting.

The School Board met at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16.

In this week's edition of our Together we are SoWashCo video series, we are featuring fifth grader Essence from Newport Elementary. Essence serves on the Youth Advisory Council in the district, and is described as a leader at her school and in the community.

Minnesota Wild Player Christian Folin, Nordy – the team mascot, and other Wild staff members visited Red Rock Elementary as part of the hockey team’s Face Off for Fitness School Assembly Program on Wed., Feb. 15.

At the Feb. 2 School Board meeting, representatives of the Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District (RWMWD) joined Woodbury Elementary Principal Connha Classon to share a new partnership to benefit the community and help educate students on environmental issues.
