The combined choirs of East Ridge, Park and Woodbury high schools will present the 28th annual MasterWorks Concert on Monday, Oct. 12, at 7:30 p.m.

Each year, nearly 7,000 people donate their time and energy to help students throughout the South Washington County School District succeed.

District 833 is pleased to announce that Connha Classon has been selected as interim principal for Woodbury Elementary School for the remainder of the 2015-16 school year.

Superintendent Jacobus and other administrators are hosting a series of Community Conversations to discuss the state of South Washington County Schools and specific information regarding the Nov. 3 election, including how students and taxpayers will be affected.

Park High School has announced its eleventh class for induction into the Park High School Hall of Fame.

Elementary schools in District 833 recently had the opportunity to see a presentation on Raptors of Minnesota by the University of Minnesota’s Raptor Center.

The School Board met on Thursday, Oct. 1, with the following items on the agenda:

Nominations are now open for Education Minnesota’s 2016 Minnesota Teacher of the Year.

The District 833 marching bands will hold their annual Showcase on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 1 p.m. at the East Ridge High School Stadium.

South Washington County Schools will be hosting a School Board Candidate Forum, sponsored by the local chapter of the League of Women Voters, on Tuesday, Oct. 6 from 7-8:30 p.m.
